I'm over all the negative, upsetting things I used to write in here. This is my life and if I don't take charge, who will? No one. And then my life will never be the life I expected for myself. And I expect big things ahead of me. So forget the sadness and embrace happiness. So often we let the beauty in life pass us by, we find the bad in people or in things and then refuse to open our eyes because of our already preconceived notions, then we don't remember how fragile our life truly is, and how easily it can be taken from us, and then we will regret never being as free as we had hoped. But I'm taking a stand against myself, and I will no longer let that slip past my notice. It's my life, and I'm going to make the best of it with the cards I was dealt. My name's Christina, I'm 18, and I live in the forgotten borough, but I refuse to become just another forgotten person there.
